On Vodka, Beers and Regrets tells us there is hope

I’ve been a fan of Bella Padilla and JC Santos ever since they starred together in movies. I followed them from 100 Tula Para Kay Stella, The Day After Valentines, and Miracle in Cell No. 7.

Last week, I watched the premiere of their latest flick, “On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets” here in Dubai courtesy of Frontrow Filmed Entertainment.

The movie isn’t just your typical romantic Valentines’ Day tear-jerker. It’s about having more to life than just romance.

It is very much relatable especially to those who once had their best memories created with the presence of alcohol. We all have drunk moments, and many of us might have regrets about things we did or say during those drunk moments.

As for me, I never regretted anything except the fact that I was very alcohol-dependent during my college days to the point where I thought I couldn’t live without it. And those episodes in my life taught me many valuable lessons, so I’d say those are some of the best days of my life.

The entire movie is not just about the good memories and bad effects of alcohol but more about the importance of having someone who will choose to stay at our worst, when we are unlovable and when we hit rock bottom.

I would highly recommend the movie to anyone who feels they are at the losing end; to those who think or feel they are hopeless; to those who are looking for a new start. The movie will give you hope in love, hope in yourself and hope for the future.
