Life is hard but God provides

No matter who we are, we all experience difficulty.  Life is full surprises and uncertainties.

In every season of our lives, in every place of our existence, there will always be tension and conflict. From the throbbing reality of losing loved ones, heartaches and heartbreaks, business closure, illnesses, broken families, and financial instability, life is hard.

With all these kinds of tremors in our lives, many questions remain unanswered. Does God really insist? Is God real? If He loves me, Why is He forsaking me? When we can’t find answers we often come up with our own. And, if you’re like me, your answer is often not a good one. Consequently, our bad answers cause us to respond to pain in ways that can cause more pain to ourselves and others. This is how I respond to the life that I had before I fully understand the purpose of God in my life and what God wants me to learn from those hardships of my life.

Life requires a lot of sacrifices to survive, but God’s wisdom guides us in building a good and productive life and a way of living that is admirable. God’s provision is never lacking, it is us who is exceeding and being discontent for all the material blessings that we are receiving. But God has given His word to His children.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

James 1:5

God’s provision is always perfect and planned

He gives rain when the earth needs refreshment. He calls the sun from its hiding when the earth needs warmth. He gives to the animals their food, the flowers their beauty, the birds their shelter, and you and me everything we need according to His own will and perfect timing.

God is both good and able. If He wasn’t, we would be forced to fend for ourselves, striving for that which He has promised to provide. But with all these, we need to surrender everything to God and recognize Him as the only way through the joyful and peaceful life. The truth is that, until we experience for ourselves both the goodness and power, the truth of His provision will only ever feel like a heady, theological principle of a man. But trust and faith are very important working on it with patience and thanksgiving despite any situation you are currently in.
