In your desire to inspire, intention matters… not attention

Allow a person to taste power or to nibble a worldly title, and even the meek can become greedy, and the sheep can transform into a wolf.

Two things you should remember so as not to be a prisoner of your own regret:

ONE, examine your deed. A good deed starts with a selfless intention. One that is sustained. When a person gains attention due to the selfless action and ends up addicted to the attention more than the initial good intention, that person then, for lack of pure reflection, becomes arrogant and blind. Arrogance brought by the inability to handle the attention with humility, blind to the true intentions of his heart, obsessed to be seen more, to have more, and to be above others in the hierarchy of positions. To find yourself in this situation is tiresome.

A wise friend should remind him and lead him back to the fold. If not, circumstance will knock him out.

TWO, a person with a perceived selfless intention who turns out to be jealous is a hypocrite in velveteen mask. Charming to a distant many, but insecure to a close few. Good deed has no presence here, but cunning. A cunning heart is a worried heart, burdened by suspicion, troubled by the desire to gain, afraid to be discovered with untruth. To find yourself in this situation is tiresome.

Learn from these wise words from an anonymous author:

“There are two types of tired. One that requires sleep and one that requires peace. “

What is this obsession for power and position? What do you gain from it? The applause of people that is as fleeting as the passing wind? Or is it about the shallow satisfaction brought about by human-made positions that obfuscate, rather than liberate? Isn’t it that the greater the desire, the greater the greed? The greater the greed, the greatest is the unhappiness? At the end of your life, round the decay of your colossal wreck, not even your body stays intact on earth.

Do you want to inspire people and live a life of peace? Your intention should not come from a desire for power, but from that need to help people become better than you are.
