World’s largest fun run returns in Dubai’s busiest road

Last year, as Dubai is en route to succeeding in the COVID battle, about 146,000 runners show up and sprinted along Sheikh Zayed Road, arguably the country’s busiest road. This number is expected to grow even higher now that the pandemic measures have been relaxed.

The 10km route begins on Sheikh Zayed Road near Museum of the Future, follows Sheikh Zayed Road to the Dubai Canal, then returns towards the Trade Centre before ending on Al Mustaqbal Street near DIFC. It is suitable for more experienced runners.

Available routes

  • The 5km route begins on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Museum of the Future, passes the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Opera and ends near Dubai Mall. It’s a flat route suitable for runners of all ages and abilities.
  • The 10k route – follows Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Canal, returns past Business Bay and Emaar Square, and ends on Al Mustaqbal St.
    A longer route, it’s better suited to more experienced runners.

Both routes start near the Museum of the Future on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Arrival time

You can choose your arrival time when you register. There are different slots for both routes, starting from 4am. Capacity for each starting time is limited to manage capacity and keep everyone safe.
