If you can sing, play an instrument or perform stand-up comedy, you have a chance to crack a performance at the Dubai Opera.
All you have to do is record a maximum 90 seconds video of your talent, upload it on social media and include the hashtag #FromHomeToStage and tag @dubaiopera on your post.
The first prize winner will be rewarded the rare chance to be an opening act for one of Dubai Opera’s major performers in the upcoming season.
The runner-up will have their own one-hour event that will be held at the Dubai Opera Studio. They will also be allowed to invite their friends and family, at a limited number of attendees which will be mutually agreed between the winner and Dubai Opera only.
It is FREE to join the competition and is open to residents of the United Arab Emirates aged 12 years and above. Only one entry will be accepted per person per account. Participants must be following Dubai Opera on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and must be subscribed to its newsletter.
Dubai Opera will judge the competition and decide on the winner after the submission period.
