Cyclists to occupy UAE’s busiest road once again

The UAE’s busiest road transforms into a giant cycling track once again on 6th November 2022. This is now becoming a once-a-year opportunity to take part in one of Dubai’s biggest community events and to cycle on the city’s iconic roads.

Available routes

Riders can choose from the 4km Downtown Family route or the 12km Sheikh Zayed Road route. That Sunday morning will offer one of the most stunning cycle path in the world passing through the heart of the city and the iconic Museum of the Future, Emirates Towers, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Canal, among others.

The 4-kilometer route

The 4km Downtown Family route follows Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard and goes past Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera, and the Burj Khalifa. It’s a flat route, suitable for cyclists of all ages and abilities.

The 12-kilometer route

The 12km Sheikh Zayed Road route goes from Dubai World Trade Centre to Safa Park and back. It includes a climb over the Dubai Canal Bridge so is suitable for more experienced cyclists.
