Cirque Du Soleil ‘OVO’, the extraordinary performance which takes audiences on a magical journey through the colorful ecosystem of insects will be live in Dubai from 12th to 18th January at Coca-Cola Arena.

1. A powerhouse globe-trotting show
Cirque Du Soleil has nearly 4,000 employees, with 1,300 talented and creative artists who
come from more than 50 different countries around the world. The company has inspired
and brought magic to over 180 million people in over 400 cities.
2. Mind-altering costumes
According to Luana Ouverney, head of wardrobe for “OVO” the performers travel with over
1,000 pieces of creative costume, from shoes, headpieces, wings, and more, transforming
the stars into magical insects.
3. Transcendent soundtrack
The flying, leaping, and riveting of the performers is set to the moving ‘music of Brazil’,
created by Composer Berna Ceppas.
4. Breath-taking set design
Curated by Gringo Cardia, the show set is inspired by colonies and nests carefully built by
insects, with over 225 panels making up the awe-inspiring backdrop for the epic show.
5. Captivating characters
The show plays host to an array of unique and enchanting characters, all of which showcase
different sectors of the insect world, from community leaders to outsiders, lone bugs and
many more, aiding the audience’s journey through their world.
6. Acrobatic excellence
The show is of course brought to life by the acrobats and sports professionals who take to
the stage and seemingly defy gravity, as insects would, floating through the performance
space and bewitching audiences.

The show’s carefully executed choreography and delicately made costumes are both crafted
by hand and through the use of 3D printers, lighting and aerial technology making for an out
of this world theatrical experience.
